BoddepalliRajagopala Rao Vamsadhara Project (Phase-II- Stage II):

In Stage II of Phase II, the excavation of flood flow canal work of the Vamsadhara Project has been taken up with an estimated cost of Rs.1616.00 Cr. that benefited to store 19.9 TMC of water and irrigation provided to 2.30 Lakh acres. During the current season, 2.50 TMC of water has also been stored.

Linking of Vamsadhara&Nagavali Rivers:

Excavation of the interlinking canal of Vamsadhara and Nagavali Rivers has been taken up with an estimated cost of Rs.85.00 Cr. which run 33 Kms to bring 25,000 additional ayacut apart from stabilizing 1.00 Lakh of ayacut under Narayanapuram Ayucut.

Lift Irrigation:

During the last 4 years, 13 LI Schemes have been sanctioned for 327.19 Crores for an ayacut of 29020 acres.12 works have been completed which cater to an ayacut of 3470 acres.

For the 1st time water has been released from Madduvalasa Reservoir and Thotapalli Old Canal System for an ayacut of about 75000acres in Rabi 2017.

1443 lakh person days have been generated for 7 years period (2007-08 to 2013-14), whereas as1029 lakhs person days were generated just in 4½ years (2014-15 to 2018-19).
Wage expenditure incurred for the whole period of 7 years (2007-08 to 2013-14) was Rs.1371 and it was Rs.1398Crs. during the last 4 ½ years (2014-15 to 2018-19).
Material Component incurred during the period of 2007-08 to 2013-14 was Rs.285 Crs., whereas it was Rs.736Crs. during the period of 4 ½ years (2014-15 to 2018-19)by registering a growth of 60.26%.
There was no drilling of Bores program in the District from 2007-08 to 2013-14, but 1498 Bores have been successfully drilled in just 1½ years after the 2014-15 financial year.

124 un-connected ST habitations have been provided road connectivity by spending several Rs. 44.20 Cr. that covers a total length of 208 Km. With this 100% road connectivity has been achieved in the Tribal area.

Srikakulam District Ranked 1st in the State in the implementation of Ease of Doing Business in the District.
Partnership summits have been organized and MoUs have been entered with the Firms for Rs. 17,772Cr. for providing 15,437 employment opportunities. 1204 Units with an investment of Rs.1423.69 Cr have been established and created 18,516 Jobs so far.
As part of the implementation of a comprehensive plan for the eradication of CKD in the Uddanam Area, the following initiatives have been taken up
Semi Auto analyzers procured and supplied to 17 PHCs & 6 CHCs in the Uddanam area for CKD screening purposes.
Lab technician posts also filled in the 17 PHCs for conducting the CKD screening test.
Required CKD drugs are procured from time to time and supplied to the suffering CKD patients of the Uddanam area.
401 Kidney patients are being provided pensions @ Rs.2,500/- per month to each.
7 R.O. Plants have been provided with an amount of 935.66 Lakhs to provide safe Drinking Water under NTR SujalaPathakam.

27 Lakh SHG women were provided Bank Linkage of Rs.2078.58 Crores
56,314 SHG women were provided a loan of Rs.227.19 Crores under Sthree Nidhi.
4,84,355 SHG women benefited with an amount of Rs.474.38 Crores under the PasupuKunkuma Programme.

Srikakulam District stood at 4th place in the State in SSC-2018 results with a pass percentage of 96.58% and progressed to stand in 1st place in SSC-2019 results.
13 Projects at the State Level and 3 Projects at the National Level have been got selected for Children Science Congress 2018.
30 RO Plants have been provided with an amount of Rs.52.50 Lakhs to 30 KGBVs.
As part of the provision of civic amenities, C.C drains with an estimated cost of Rs.164.65 Lakhs to 31 KGBVs, 1920 toilets were sanctioned under Swatchcha Andhra Mission for attaining the saturation stage.
KGBV, Ponduru; KGBV Ichapuram& KGBV Kotturu have got Swatch VidyalaPuraskar 2017-18.

A national award was received from the Hon’ble President of India for the services rendered under Inclusive Education for providing Barrier Free Environment for CwSN (Children with Special Needs)

By constructing 3.00 Lakhs of IHHLs in the District with an amount of Rs.397.82Crs., the District has been declared as 100% ODF.

The District has completed 100% purification of Land Records in all 95 villages which were taken up as Pilot Projects.
